This comprehensive collection of courses introduces users to the working of Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to Level 1 skill set. The package then integrates all the software into a real-world production design job.
Acrobat for Business Course Aim:
This course provides a comprehensive look at Acrobat to efficiently use the Acrobat PDF technology to produce documents for output to desktop printers, high-quality printing and web (online). Users will produce, edit, comment and enhance various PDF documents for business use and examine the potential of this technology for publishing distribution. Courseware supplied; comprehensive & Alpha designed.
Photoshop Level 1 Course Aim:
This comprehensive course introduces users to working with Adobe Photoshop. Users will examine the manipulation, retouching, editing, and preparation of original images to suit the page makeup/publishing process and for multimedia application. Courseware supplied; comprehensive & Alpha designed.
Illustrator Level 1 Course Aim:
This course provides an introduction to creating and editing vector artwork such as logos, illustrations and graphic artwork. Courseware supplied; Alpha designed 200 pages.
InDesign Level 1 Course Aim:
This course introduces users to the desktop publishing application of InDesign. Users will be able to use InDesign to produce publishing material such as basic flyers and newsletters. Our comprehensive 180-page courseware will be supplied.
Adobe Design Suite - Integrating the Software Level 1 Course Aim:
In this course participants seamlessly combine Adobe inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat to produce an integrated design document. Components of a design layout are produced in Photoshop and Illustrator, then combined into a multi-page inDesign document. A final pdf is produced with the help of Acrobat. Different workflows and ways of moving between the software packages are explored as well as various tips, tricks and real-life examples.
This course is designed for those who have completed our individual software level 1 courses of Photoshop Level 1, Illustrator Level 1, InDesign Level 1, and Acrobat for Business and want to take their knowledge further into a real-world production environment.
Course Prerequisites:
Previous experience using applications on a PC or Macintosh is an essential prerequisite for this course.
