Course Aim:
The Package includes Colour Management (1-day), and Image Correction Using Photoshop (Advanced) (1-day).
This comprehensive collection of courses examines the setup and usage of colour management techniques, then the process of correcting images for press reproduction using PhotoShop. The package will examine how to setup and use colour management in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, and demonstrate the use of dedicated colour management software including Macbeth Profilemaker, and X-Rite Monaco Profiler to create profiles..
Colour Management Course Aim:
This course will overview colour management theory and workflow, profiles, setting up of workstations and Photoshop, and process of opening images within Photoshop and the conversion process. Colour Management setup of other publishing applications will be examined and include Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign. Other topics include monitor calibration techniques, soft-proofing, printing and print-proofing of results. We will also look at profiling monitors, scanners and printers.
Image Correction Using Photoshop (Advanced) Course Aim:
This comprehensive course covers the techniques for correcting images for output to specific PRESS printing and web processes. Particpants will be able to efficiently and productively technically correct images for deficiencies and reproduction requirements.
Course Prerequisites:
Previous experience using applications on a PC or Macintosh is an essential prerequisite for this course. Experience in using PhotoShop and completion of PhotoShop Level 1 & Level 2 or equivalent knowledge is essential.
